Dehumidifiers cycle their compressors on and off throughout the day. Each startup draws a surge of current well above the running draw. A shared circuit is not sized for that surge alongside other loads.
The standard for a crawl space dehumidifier circuit is a 20A dedicated breaker feeding a 20A outlet. A 15A circuit is undersized for most units rated at the code-minimum 15 pints per day or above. Size up from the start.
